This month I aim to finish off my personal statement final draft so I can complete my UCAS application after filling in all my details. In order to complete the whole application, I’ll be researching the Universities I plan to study Media Production in to get some knowledge of where I plan to study in for my degree.
During this year I have looked into my first and second choice, which are Bournemouth Arts and Bournemouth University. I chose these two which are both in the same location because one, I’ve heard positive things and know Bournemouth are great for media and two, its right by the sea.

As I am applying for University and moving into student accommodation, I am aware that I will have to apply to student finance. A man who had a lot of knowledge on student finance kindly came in to tell us how student finance works. He also explained how to apply and gave out leaflets with all the information you need to know to apply.
I will also need to complete unfinished work for David’s ident, Marks Tv channel project and learning how to Harvard Reference for the Demographic essay.

Before the end of this term I aim to have sent off for my UCAS application. I have now decided my other three options, Norwich, Southampton and Bristol. I do not want to study in London as I have a passion in experiencing new things and meeting different people.
I also need to research three film companies for work experience. I’ll need to make a Media Cv in order to accomplish thiswhich will prepare me for when I do start thinking about full time work.
Norwich (3rd choice)
I chose Norwich as my third choice because if I do not get into Bournemouth Arts or Bournemouth, I’d encounter the same things I hoped to here.
Southampton (4th)
I wouldn’t mind studying at Southampton University but wouldn’t be my first or second choice. I may be surprised when I attend the open day and see for myself though.
